Simply Helping fully complies with the strict standards as set out by the Human Services Standards 2011 Certification – Department of Health and Human Services and the National Standards for Disability Services 2013 Certification.
Simply Helping receives requests for assistance from both private clients and brokerage clients such as healthcare groups and not-for-profit groups receiving government funds to provide services. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides much opportunity for growth in this sector.
This is currently being rolled out around Australia, and each franchise is encouraged to become registered as a disability provider under this scheme. Currently, the majority of franchisees are registered with NDIS to provide services. This is a major growth area as it opens up choice for clients and families to select the organisation they feel more comfortable working with.
Following major changes in aged care, franchisees are also encouraged to become an approved provider for Home Care Packages. Recipients of these packages now have the choice of which service provider they wish to have manage their packages.
Currently, franchisees have either been approved or have submitted applications to become Approved Providers.
